With over three decades of experience in the dance industry, Mary Ellen Schrewe, owner and director of Mary Ellen Studio Of Dance, has built a reputation for cultivating both talent and passion in every student.

Her academic background includes advanced studies in dance education from Wayne State University, alongside certifications from prestigious organizations like Dance Masters of America and the Cecchetti Council of America. By consistently learning from nationally recognized teachers and choreographers, Ms. Schrewe remains at the forefront of the dance world, ensuring her students are always reaching their full potential.

The studio has proudly garnered numerous accolades in competitive dance, including titles such as "Best Choreography," the "Studio Spirit Award," and the "Outstanding Teacher Award." A Team of Seasoned Professionals

The instructors at Mary Ellen Studio Of Dance bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise across all dance styles. Each instructor has over 15 years of experience and is a competitive, award-winning dancer, celebrated for their friendly, approachable teaching methods. Every student receives personalized attention, with a focus on building strength, self-confidence, and passion for dance.

Continuously Refining

Our instructors have trained with world-renowned choreographers like Napoleon & Tabitha D'umo from "So You Think You Can Dance" and Dominic "D-Trix" Sandoval, finalist of "SYTYCD" and winner of "America's Best Dance Crew."

Diverse Expertise

Their diverse qualifications include studying in New York City, obtaining BFAs in Dance, and certifications in Acrobatic Arts, Pilates, Barre Fitness, and Zumba. Many have also coached high school dance teams and danced internationally under American Ballet Theater instructors. This rich background ensures that students experience top-tier, comprehensive dance training, from beginner to competition level.
